Solar Hybrid System for Electricity and Air Heating - Experimental Research

Abstract In the current energy context, solar is cheapest source of renewable energy. Photovoltaic cells (PV) and air thermal collectors (ATC) are used to convert irradiation into electricity heat. this research a model for hybrid system consisting in photovoltaic panel behind which hot collector was designed tested. This produces both heat, from sun, based on principle two one. Romanian climatic conditions, such systems can be easily integrated residential or office buildings. By cooling with air, recovering energy, electric power increase about 7.905% irradiance 750 W/m 2 . The warm collected had temperature 5.5° C (Celsius degrees) higher, depending velocity provided by tangential fan. experimental demonstrates efficiency PV-ATC system: 11.16% electrical efficiency, 45.27% 56.44% total efficiency.
